It’s ironic how a song titled ‘Let It Go’ became the one Disney song that just won’t go away. Since the first film, this power ballad about self-acceptance has become a staple at children’s parties, much to the dismay of parents throughout the world. Well, it turns out even Elsa’s had enough. In Frozen II, we find her sifting through memories in order to find her place in the world. Adults probably felt a twinge of satisfaction when Elsa cringes at the memory of her singing the song.
