That’s the question many fans were asking when Elsa reaches the ice cave in the “river of memory” known as Ahtohallan. But die-hard Superman fans immediately recognized it as the Fortress of Solitude, aka the Man of Steel’s occasional headquarters. Of course, there’s no proof that the creators of Frozen stole the idea from the Superman comics, and it’s perfectly fine to take inspiration from other people’s work. While Superman fans were incensed, it was a quickly forgotten affair that most kids never noticed.
