Saying that the first movie in the franchise was a big hit is an understatement. Along with grossing $1.2 billion at the box office, it was eventually adapted into a Broadway musical. The musical debuted in 2018 and went onto earn 3 Tony nominations. In the Broadway production, the role of young Anna was played by Mattea Conforti, who was chosen to voice Anna in Frozen II. The difference in Anna’s voice from the first film was noticed by many adults, but most kids couldn’t care less.
