The military of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria – located in North Africa – has not engaged in combat with a foreign military for over forty years now. However, despite this, Algeria is noted as having one of the most well-trained and efficient armies in the region, and in the world.
Algeria’s military has 130,000 active members, with an equally substantial 150,000 members waiting in reserve. In addition, the Algerian military has no shortage of vehicles, with 60 sea-craft, 451 aircraft, and 975 tanks to hand.
