Taiwan is a country for whom a military is fairly important, given ongoing disputes regarding its right to be recognized as an independent nation. As such, Taiwan seeks to maintain a large army – with 163,000 active personnel in its military, alongside over 1.6 million reserve members to its name.
Due to a constant tension, the Taiwanese military is constantly undergoing training and development, and as such is very well-regarded as a military force – having cooperated with foreign nations on numerous different campaigns.
