The Price Is Right is back under the spotlight, but this time it’s not because of something a contestant did. In 2010, TPIR model Brandi Cochran took legal action against the show after she claimed they had wrongfully dismissed her.
She said she had taken her pregnancy leave and when she was due to return to work the show dropped her, telling her she was no longer needed. Brandi won a big settlement in 2012, taking home $775,000 and later another model came along with a very similar complaint.
