You really have to be careful how you answer questions on game shows, otherwise pedants will point out your mistake and refuse to let you get away with it. In 2012 Reid Rogers was asked a question where the answer was the tennis tournament Wimbledon.
Rogers slightly misspoke and said ‘Wimble-ton’ rather than ‘don’ and his answer was deemed incorrect. His response was first accepted before producers decided his answer wasn’t good enough, which had viewers thinking Rogers was treated more than unfairly.
