British game show Bullseye put darts at the center, as constants threw darts alongside professional players. The game show has the rare honor of hosting a dangerous criminal. Back in 1985, Bullseye invited John Cooper onto the show, before the days when TV shows did thorough background checks.
The man was very dangerous, and four years before his appearance he attacked and ended the lives of Richard and Helen Thomas, who were brother and sister. Then just one month after appearing on the TV show he struck again, ending the lives of husband and wife Peter and Gwenda Dixon. Giving contestants like this airtime is not something any show would wish for and since 1985 background checks are much stricter.
