Ebony knew it wasn’t good enough, she had four children living in the back of a car and they all needed to attend school. It’s hard enough for a single person to live out of their car, let alone an entire family of five. Unfortunately, it took its toll, and sometimes the kids would miss school as a result.
Ebony was also aware of all the possible dangers around her. There were times she couldn’t sleep because she felt she needed to be alert in case anyone was around.
