Already known for his zany characters in films such as Police Academy, Goldthwait had a typically quirky role in Married With Children as Zemus, Peg Bundy’s cousin. He appeared in the season seven episode, “Magnificent Seven,” when he drops off his son, Seven, at Al and Peg’s while he goes to the store. However, Zemus instead runs off to Florida with his wife, Ida Mae. That forces Al to head to the Sunshine State, where he finds them in a trailer park and decides to adopt Seven to protect him from an uncaring environment.
