Oddly enough, Marcy’s husband, Jefferson, is not her first spouse. Instead, her first husband is Steve Rhoades, played by David Garrison. Rhoades works at the same bank as Marcy, but is in a lower position. While this doesn’t necessarily bother him, he is often rude to the Bundy family, thinking himself of a higher standing than they. He’s not exactly the most likeable character, and gets a twisted sort of joy out of belittling customers at the bank if they had been mean to him during his high school years.
