It seems as though Eric was initially left the note on the right by his mom, but his dad found the note and tried to make things funnier. Eric’s mom just wanted him to do a few simple chores, but his father has a whole list of stuff he doesn’t want his son doing.
Maybe Eric was going to the beach with some friends, and his dad just wanted to remind his son about all of the things he should stay away from.
