It seems as though parents have figured out that when it comes to receiving gifts or money, their children suddenly become interested in chores. If you tell a kid to tidy their room just because, you might not get what you want.
Tell that same kid that the Tooth Fairy isn’t going to come until they tidy their room, and it becomes a different story. Amazingly, this kid’s mom was even willing to help tidy, as long as she was asked nicely.
