Though you can hardly recognize her with those helmet and huge goggles, that’s The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby portraying Princess Margaret atop a motorcycle. This was a scene from the show’s second season, where Margaret breaks every royal protocol imaginable by going on a motorcycle ride through the streets of London with her beau, Antony Armstrong-Jones, played by Matthew Goode.
It was an extremely impactful moment, as it showcased the Princess’ wild and independent streak perfectly. We almost wish we hadn’t seen this photo, which shows Kirby making a mock-scared face for the camera with crew members all around her.
