When it comes to understanding data, sometimes it’s best to put the information in a more digestible format. Graphs and diagrams are perfect for making complex numbers appear simple, but unfortunately, this is misrepresenting the data.
If one third of this company’s budget does go toward financial aid, they might need to change their chart as that’s showing a quarter. What makes this worse is this isn’t just in the boardroom, this has made it onto a billboard for the world to see.
