When this person was handed their bill, they thought they were being taken advantage of by the restaurant. In actual fact, they were unable to work out that the restaurant had given them more change than they were due.
What made matters worse was the fact that this person then kicked up a fuss about being shortchanged, even when they weren’t. We can imagine the look of confusion on the face of the manager when this customer started complaining about getting the wrong change.
