[post_page_title]Don’t bring Beethoven into this[/post_page_title]
The person who wrote this math question figured they might as well introduce a bit of culture into the world of the students taking their test. They forgot how music worked though, and thought that because it takes 120 musicians 40 minutes to play Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, more or fewer musicians would change the time.
Of course, if Beethoven’s 9th Symphony takes 40 minutes to play, it doesn’t matter how many musicians you’ve got playing it. The time doesn’t change, and this math question has a very simple answer.
