Before she landed her breakout role in ‘Family Matters’, Cherie Johnson was known for playing Punky’s best friend in the 80s comedy, ‘Punky Knows Best’. Then, after the show ended in the late 90s, Cherie went on to star in a range of other hit shows such as ‘The Parkers’.
As well as her acting, Cherie is also known for writing and producing. Her most notable writing credits include the critically acclaimed mini-series ‘A Place Called Hollywood’. One thing we know for sure is that Cherie has talent.
