So, we’ve already discussed the loveable Waldo, and now it’s time to meet the love of his life, Maxine! Played by Cherie Johnson, Maxine was the best friend of Laura, but sometimes she’s seen as a bit of a bad influence.
She often tries to influence Laura to do things she may not want to do, and she also dresses, dare we say it, rather inappropriately for a teenage girl. However, towards the end of the series, she fortunately turns things around and proves everyone wrong!
