From 1994 to 1995, Tom Poston played the character Alfred Looney in Family Matters. He was a janitor with a mind that reached for higher pursuits like theater and singing, which is probably why he and Urkel got along so well.
Some of the best moment’s involving his character were when he and Urkel would sing and dance together, which was always heartwarming. He would always assert that he was French, and Urkel was the only one who would pronounce his last name with a French accent.
