Remember when Rachel convinces Ross’ new girlfriend, Bonnie, to shave her head? Yes, that really did happen, and we quickly saw the pair end things. Rachel also lies to everyone about her assistant Tag’s love life so she could date him, flies all the way to London to stop Ross’ wedding, breaks up with Ross shortly after they get back together, and deliberately gives Ross lousy advice about his relationship to try and end things between him and Julie.
In other words, Rachel is a monsoon of inconsistency, especially when it comes to matters of relationships. Even when she isn’t “into” Ross, she doesn’t really let him be with anyone else.
