Of course, it can be tough to choose a favorite character. However, for many people, there was one clear winner: Joey Tribbiani. He was involved in some of the biggest plot twists along the way, and always followed his true dreams of becoming a big actor. However, there was something a little off as the show continued to progress. Although Joey wasn’t always the brightest of the group, he started out the series with plenty of street smarts.
That all changed as time continued to move forward. It seems as though Joey had no idea how to replicate Phoebe when she was trying to teach him French, he started to eat everything in the fridge after it broke, and had no idea how to use air-quotes. While many found his naivety endearing, others believe that Joey just became dumb for the sake of it as the seasons went by.
