Swedish actress Liv Ullmann garnered great acclaim throughout the seventies, often working with legendary director Ingmar Bergman. She became very well-known for her roles in ‘The Emigrants’, ‘Scenes From a Marriage’, and ‘Face to Face’ – two of which she received Oscar nominations for.

Ullmann continued to act over the years, but has also moved behind the camera. She has directed five films so far, all of which have been fairly well-received. Her most recent work was 2014’s ‘Miss Julie’, about the scandals and relationships in a 19th century household.
