Valerie Perrine broke onto the scene in 1974, when she appeared in ‘Lenny’, a biopic about the comedian Lenny Bruce – for which she was nominated for an Oscar. Throughout the seventies, Perrine also appeared in major films like ‘Superman’ and ‘The Electric Horseman’.

Throughout the ensuing decades, Perrine continued to act, making appearances in ‘Homicide: Life on the Street’, ‘What Women Want’, and ‘As the World Turns’ amongst other things. Nowadays, however, Perrine has retired – her last appearance being in 2016’s ‘Silver Skies’.
