While Richard has still not been in contact with two of his three boys, the third has reached out to him recently, sending him a beautiful text. The overburdened father was over the moon to read the text, which seemed to arrive at the most desperate of times.
So what did it say? Well, his son simply promised Richard would always be his father, no matter what. “Of course I’ll say in touch,” he added, “that will never change.” He concluded by saying, “I’m always here for you and you will always be Dad.”
