The luxurious cars and bikes of the British Royal Family

He’s only a few years off turning 100, but Prince Philip still likes to go for a drive. Unfortunately, being behind the wheel of a car isn’t always a great idea for someone in their late-90s. In January 2019, Philip hit the headlines after crashing into a Kia while driving his Land Rover Freelander. It was no minor incident either, with one passenger in the other car ending up with a broken wrist.

The Prince was lucky to walk out of the accident in one piece, especially as his Land Rover ended up on its side. Fortunately, in the hours following the crash, the royal received a replacement for his car which was identical to the one he’d damaged. It was the same make and model, only without the wear and tear of the old one. Hopefully, he finds this one much safer to drive.
