It might surprise you to know that the royals don’t only drive cars when they want to go out and about. When they’re up for something a bit more exhilarating, they like to go for a ride on a motorbike. At least, Prince William does. He’s been a fan of the bikes for years and once admitted that he much prefers them to cars.

Unfortunately, when you’re the future king of Britain, you can’t go around endangering your life all the time. Since welcoming his children into the world, William’s favorite hobby has been shelved, much to his wife’s relief. Kate isn’t a huge fan of motorcycles herself and hopes her son won’t develop the same interests as his father. If he does, maybe William will take him for a ride on one of his many motors, such as the Triumph Daytona 600.
