[post_page_title]He lost everything[/post_page_title]
When Paul walked back into the nursery, instead of five babies waiting for him, there were only empty beds that would never be filled. He would never change his babies’ diapers, sing them songs, or read them stories.
He had an emptiness in him that he didn’t have before, and to make it even more confusing, it was for children that never existed in the first place. He couldn’t look at the nursery anymore, and he certainly couldn’t look at Barbara anymore.
