When Barbara thought she was due to give birth, she was rushed into hospital and taken to the respective ward. However, when they got there, a few simple tests carried out by the nurses soon revealed that Barbara was not, in fact, pregnant.
It was all too confusing. Paul couldn’t make sense of everything. It was as if his entire world had come crashing down upon him. He tried thinking back to see whether he should have noticed, but there were a few things that didn’t add up.
