Captain Marvel is actually one of the better heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and her powers are some of the coolest ones. But why can’t she seem to get along with anyone? She has a weird tendency (perhaps a defense mechanism?) to be sarcastic and arrogant all the time, which is just tiring.
She also has zero character development throughout the Marvel series. But perhaps Brie Larson is the problem here, more than the character, as she has often been accused of being pretty arrogant herself.
