Piper is pretty hilarious, as the wealthy, privileged woman finding herself in prison because of a mistake she made many years prior. But she’s also very annoying.
When she first arrives to prison, she seems to think she’s different and much better than the other inmates (even though she, just like them, has committed serious crimes). As Piper evolves as a character and starts making friends, she will still often behave with a sort of snobby superiority, and has extremely manipulative tendencies, which eventually makes it pretty hard to root for her.
