Prince Charles is currently the direct heir to the throne. He is entitled to a large portion of the profits that have been received from the Duchy of Cornwall. The Duchy of Cornwall is a private account that belongs completely and solely to the Royal Family’s estate.
Allegedly, today the Duchy is worth $1.2 billion, and Charles will automatically receive most of this when he eventually becomes King. Although this may seem unfair, Charles has certainly earned this over his many years of service, to say the least.
