Elizabeth is still the Queen and will be for the foreseeable future, by the looks of things. However, in recent years, she has taken a little bit of a step back from her duties. Who can blame her, she is 93, after all.
She cannot do as much as she once did, so the duties have fallen onto the future Kings, Charles and William. When Charles is unavailable, William falls into line and takes his place. This is what is so gracious about the royals – they help one another.
