According to one former TSA worker, travelers that wear long dresses and skirts cause a huge hassle. When TSA workers are patting people down, it’s harder when you’re covering up so much. Workers need to check to make sure you’re not hiding anything under your clothes.
So if you’re thinking of wearing your maxi dress to the airport, save it for when you arrive to your destination. You don’t want to be the one holding up the line or being in an embarrassing situation.
