Lost track of how long you’ve had those eggs in the fridge? Don’t worry, since there’s an easy way to find out if they’re still okay to eat. First, stir in 2 tablespoons of salt into a bowl of water. Next, place an egg in the bowl and see how far it sinks. If it goes down halfway or all the way to the bottom, your egg is safe to eat. If it floats to the top, that means it’s gone off and should be thrown away
