[post_page_title]Non-toxic drain cleaner[/post_page_title]
We send a lot of unsavory elements down our drains, so it’s a good idea to clean them on a regular basis. But chemical drain cleaners can damage your pipes if they’re used too often. For a gentle, non-toxic cleaner, pour 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of salt down the drain. Follow with a cup of vinegar, and let the fizzing mixture break up all the debris inside the drain. After 10 minutes, pour in a pot of boiling water to flush everything out.
