The Samuel Adams brewery is known for priding itself in having its’ recipe originating from co-founder Jim Koch’s family recipe. This inspired Koch to name his beverage after Samuel Adams – a Boston patriot who, akin to Koch, had inherited his brewing traditions from his father.
The mascot for the beverage represents a 19th century patriot, who is supposedly meant to look like the original Samuel Adams, yet we think it looks like this guy more than anyone!
