After Pam proved to be a good luck charm, Jim asked her if she would like to become part of his team permanently. Before Jungle Jim finished his sentence, Pam had accepted his offer. Pam felt as though she was able to come alive while on the track, and that was a feeling she wasn’t willing to leave behind.
The smell of burning fuel and the roar of the crowd was all she needed. She earned the nickname ‘Jungle Pam,’ dropped out of college, and hit the road with Jim.
