Pamela Hardy, known as ‘Jungle Pam,’ became the sweetheart of the drag racing scene back in the 1970s, more specifically, Funny Car racing. The major difference between Funny Car racing and regular drag racing is the tilt-up automative body and the engine which is placed at the front of the driver.
Pam began working with ‘Jungle Jim’ Liberman on the drag racing circuit shortly after meeting him, and they went on to become one of the most famous duos in racing of all time.
