Although Pam was a popular figure, and remained so for a very long time, there came the point when her career began to wind down. During those years she was encouraged to get behind the wheel, but she was never once tempted to become a racer.
Pam had been around long enough, and seen enough accidents to know that being a racing driver wasn’t for her. She had already made her name on the side of the track, there was no need for her to risk her life on it.
