Instead of waiting for Alexis to ask her out, Serena Williams decided to take the bull by the horns and take the reigns. She was due to appear at the 2015 French Open in Paris and asked Alexis if he would like to fly there and spend a few hours with her before her training sessions.
He eagerly agreed, and they spent a romantic weekend in the City of Love together. However, this was a surprise for Alexis. He was under the impression that Serena was completely out of his league, and he couldn’t believe that such a wonderful woman was interested in him. He was blown away when he discovered that she liked him too.
