Alexis wasn’t having any of it, though, and despite Serena’s best efforts to get the strange man to move away from their table, he just wasn’t budging. The tennis star even made up a story that involved a giant rat who was getting a little too close to Alexis’ feet.
Although most other people would run a mile at the thought of a giant rat running over their toes, Alexis wasn’t phased. He confessed that he was a native of Brooklyn and that he was used to sharing the ground with the rodents. He wanted to get to know Serena, and he wasn’t going to let anything get in the way of that.
