Serena was rushed into surgery to have an emergency C-section, and it seemed as though all was well again. Their little girl, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, was as healthy as could be – but it was Serena who was struggling.
Doctors soon realized that she not only had a hematoma in her stomach, but she also had blood clots in her lungs. This was a stressful and painful time for both Serena and Alexis, but these health concerns were eventually resolved. Both momma and baby were happy and healthy.
