[post_page_title]Butter-out[/post_page_title]
For a spreadable foodstuff, butter has a surprising tendency to tear apart bread if you’re not careful. All too often we’ve ripped through half a loaf of bread before admitting that we should leave the butter out before making our sandwich.
When you go to a restaurant this worry should be mitigated somewhat, because whatever butter they give you should be ready for spreading. Unfortunately, this isn’t always the case, and sometimes you can end up with the disparate remains of half-buttered bread, and a sudden inclination to tip less.
