The Silence of the Lambs is overall a pretty terrifying movie that really pushed the envelope for psychological horror back in the day. However, something that could have been equally scary is if it was called The Awkward Silence of the Lambs.
It may not have been as creepy, or interesting, – but it definitely would have been just as uncomfortable to watch. Think about it, an awkward silence that lasts two hours… that is like all of our worst nightmares on repeat.
