Denny found this slightly troubling. After all, the soldiers were big guys on a long flight, and they would probably need something to eat. To his further dismay, Denny realized that none of the soldiers were ordering lunch – all presumably having come to the same conclusion as the two sitting near Denny.
He felt horrible – Denny didn’t want to see anyone go hungry, let alone the soldiers he respected so much. He decided that he was going to have to take action to remedy this situation.
