Denny was very hungry, and ready to eat whatever was being served for lunch. He found out that it was a bagged lunch consisting of sandwiches, sold for $5. Although it was a little pricey and small, it would be enough to sate the grumbling in Denny’s stomach.
Denny was getting ready to buy lunch when he heard the soldiers talking about whether or not they were going to buy one. They both decided against it due to the price, opting to get lunch at the base when they landed.
