This had turned out to be a journey unlike any other for Denny. As he sat in his seat for the rest of the flight, he basked a little in the goodwill that had been directed toward him, and reflected on his actions.
While he certainly appreciated such a nice response, it had been the furthest thing from his mind when he approached the flight attendant. All he wanted was to do something nice for the soldiers, and believed that anyone would have done the same.
