[post_page_title]Arriving at the scene[/post_page_title]
Peter Getz was one of the patrol officers in the area when he heard a call about a fire not far from where he was. Peter and his partner both rushed to the scene in their patrol car and arrived to see the flames completely engulfing the building. They had to act fast if they were going to help. It was then that Peter spotted a firefighter climbing out of a window with a little girl in his arms.
As soon as the police officer arrived to help, the firefighter thrust the youngster into Peter’s arms as they climbed back inside to continue battling the blaze. Peter was now left with a life hanging in the balance. He needed to think on his feet if he stood a chance of getting the young girl to safety, and it would take all of his emergency training to know what to do.
