Lowell is first introduced to the show as another room parent as the character is a stay-at-home dad. Unlike Adam who uses his old-school knowledge of parenting, Lowell relies on experts advice and statistics to help him raise his children.
The character grows close to Adam and his brother, Don, after he is invited to watch a hockey game with the pair. However, this works in the brothers’ favor as Lowell is able to help create a presentation for them to use to secure a client.
